Managing Director/Head of Corporate Coverage

Leading regional Bank is looking for a senior Managing Director to manage and grow a large corporate account portfolio and manage key client relationships within their high profile (VIP/VVIP) corporate client business. This is a senior role requiring coverage and oversight of an extremely (high profile) client portfolio with knowledge and experience across a wide array of Corporate/Wholesale and Investment Banking products and solutions. The client portfolio includes some of the most prestigious clients/names in the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to setting the growth strategy for the department (overseeing a team of Directors and Senior Director level Bankers), this leadership role will have full budget and PnL responsibility and ensuring the provision of superior client service to improve clients' experiences, increase wallet shares, and maximize revenues for the Bank. This will include driving the full suite of Corporate and IB products with clients on an ongoing basis and to originate and increase the client exposure across the bank's full suite of products and services and working with specialist product teams across the organisation.

Candidates must be currently at MD level in a senior client facing/leadership Corporate Coverage role and have current/previous experience in managing a similar high profile and (very) sizeable corporate client portfolio. Excellent communication and client facing skills and experience across a broad range of Corporate and Investment Banking products is required ideally with some current/prior International Banking experience. Arabic speaking skills (and some current/previous experience in the GCC) is preferred but not essential.
