Job Description
This individual will be responsible for Field Engineering a Marco Cell sites in North Central Oklahoma. On a day-to-day basis, this engineer will be preforming troubleshooting and problem resolution on Antennas, Routers, and Radios (CDU 30 and 60) being swapped out at each location. They will be dealing with FSU/VDU set-ups, as well as identifying signal loss alarms. Critical thinking skills are required to fix handoff alarms, sweep testing, PIM testing and other issues that keep sites for turning up alarm free. Knowledge of OTDR and Spectrum Analyzers regarding signal strength, power, and amplitude is a must. Critical listening skills is a big must. The ability to work within Gui interface tools like PuTTY, and the ability to understand and download scripts on Routers (via ID's and IP addresses is a must). Overall strong knowledge of Ring Topology, Symplex situations, Jumpers and all things Transport from a physical layer perspective.
