Job Description

Candidates will work on either Mazak or Haas mill and lathe machines. They will perform both setups and operation of the machines, with no programming involved. The company manufactures parts for firearms, holding tolerances with a margin of error of +/- .001. Candidates will inspect their own parts using micrometers and calipers. Candidates will perform 2-3 setups per week. Most machines are automated with robotic arms, but there are a few typical CNC mills and lathes that require manual loading/unloading, understanding tooling, speeds and feeds, and part inspection. The majority of machines are fairly new and the work environment is super clean with a laid-back, smaller family feel.

Shift

First shift M-F from 7am - 330pm.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working with CNC machines

• Experience with with Mazak or Haas machines is preferred, but not required

• MUST be able to communicate effectively with other coworkers

• MUST possess a positive attitude and display strong motivation to do the job

• They are very open to entry level candidates. Best candidates are ones that have recently received a 2 year degree in Machine Tool Technology. They will interview people that have a solid work history and are interested in machining. Someone that is milling to learn setup's and programming.

Work Environment

Brand new shop, still in the process of moving in. The shop has 23 CNC machines, is very clean and well-lit. The team works well together and communicates effectively. The owner is laid-back, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere where people come in, get their work done, and go home.
