Pain Management Physician/Anesthesiologist - Southwestern Vermont Medical Center

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pain Management Physician/Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants. Position would be roughly 60/40 Anesthesia/Pain.

• Engaged Anesthesiology/Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
• Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology. No cardiac or trauma cases.
• Pain cases to include epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance. No medication management.
• Comprehensive compensation plan to include $545,134 salary, $50,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in retention incentives over five years.
• Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
• 12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
