Medical Assistant

Battenkill Valley Health Center is seeking an exceptional candidate for a full time Medical Assistant position. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player, who is attentive to details, has the ability to work independently, demonstrates excellent customer service and computer skills, and has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing patient charts for providers, rooming for a busy primary care provider, asking screening questions, obtaining vitals, some phlebotomy (will train if needed), vaccine administration, communicating with patients on behalf of providers, updating patient records, and regular team meetings.

Electronic health record and Microsoft Office experience required. Medical Assistant certification and prior experience preferred.
