Contract until end of 2024 + extensions.

EU based - Remote working

An excellent opportunity for a SAP Integration Architect with strong experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing projects to join a leading manufacturing client on a remote basis. Minimum 9 month contract + extensions long term. Start ASAP.

The SAP Integration Architect will be responsible for;

  • A focus area will be Supply Chain and Manufacturing, example project would be deployment of standard IT systems to support the setup of a new manufacturing plant. Furthermore, as per the project character, focus area might also be cross-functional.
  • In the early stages of the project, you will work with various solution owners and technical teams, located in various countries, to understand platforms, hosting and integration requirements and develop project IT technical solutions architecture, aligned to Global Enterprise Architecture and Information Security standards.
  • You will work with Project Management to understand Enterprise Architecture deliverables involved during overall project implementation life cycle and will be directly responsible to document involved architecture and integration principles into Logical, Conceptual and Physical architecture diagrams and all deliverables and documentations related. You will drive alignment and approval of the deliverables by Stakeholders.
  • You will be acting as single point of contact for all architecture related topics for an assigned project, act as escalation point for issues arising in this area and will be responsible to drive its resolution.
  • In the later stage of the project, you will be responsible to coordinate all technical integration related topics, especially those cross-solutions and work closely with solution owners and their developers (eventually suppliers) to drive the development work and ensure all integrations are delivered according to project plan on time and in high quality throughout overall life cycle of project implementation.
  • Specifically, you will participate in design sessions to ensure that solutions technical integration design and future setup follows aligned Architecture and Security principles. Plan and coordinate development of technical integration work, support all testing cycles and drive resolution of integration issues without delay, with involved teams and developers per solutions involved.
  • You will also support and participate in any architecture, security and integration assessments required by the internal procedures to ensure compliance.

You should have;

  • Strong experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing area systems integration and architecture is required.
  • Experience in technical systems integration, specifically ERP systems with other off the shelf software packages, to solve defined business needs
  • Exposure to and appreciation of architecture and project governance processes and procedures
  • 5+ Years of demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent Interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills, to drive alignment amongst mixed audiences.
  • Act as owner and Focus on get things done.
  • Team player able to work with various solution owners.
  • High customer orientation and quality awareness.
  • Experience of architecting, deploying and operating applications from a range of vendors.
  • Knowledge of multiple application development methodologies and platforms to host applications (eg Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Azure, AWS)
  • Enterprise grade platform/applications architecture, design, deployment and support experience
  • Knowledge of Corporate, Industry and Professional Architectural Standards and project management frameworks: Examples: TOGAF, SAFE, Agile, Waterfall.
  • Experience in application integration and database design, experience of leveraging modern tools and technologies for advanced data and analytics capabilities and master data management.
