ELK Stack developer
(Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable ELK stack solutions
- Install, configure, and tune the ELK stack cluster in an enterprise environment
- Contribute to high-level and low-level integration designs, configurations, and best practices
- Perform end-to-end low level design, development, administration and delivery of ELK/Java solutions
- Participate in the deployment approach and configuration of the ELK platform
- Take ownership of creating, designing and/or implementing Kibana dashboards
- Collaborate with technical teams on operational concerns of integration solutions on ELK platform
Minimum requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation: Architect, deploy, and configure Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards to meet client requirements.
- Data Ingestion & Transformation: Design and implement ETL processes using Logstash, Beats, or custom scripts to handle diverse data sources.
- Dashboarding & Visualization: Create and optimize Kibana visualizations and dashboards to provide actionable insights from data.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and fine-tune Elasticsearch clusters for scalability, high availability, and optimal performance.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools, resolve technical issues, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions and provide technical guidance to teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to integrate ELK solutions into broader systems and workflows.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Proficiency in query languages such as Elasticsearch Query DSL and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data structures, indexing, and search algorithms.
- Experience with Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, etc.) and custom data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Scripting languages (eg, Python, Shell) and integration tools.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and alerting tools.
- Fluency in English language for effective communication
- Ability to work Full time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed Elastic solutions.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security and access control in Elasticsearch.
- Certification in Elastic Stack technologies is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
