Role Overview:
The role will focus on managing Operations activities across multiple businesses like - investments (US & Indian), Remittances (US), Credit etc. The resource will be a key enabler towards implementing SOPs, reviewing the same periodically and ensuring a robust revenue oriented compliant operating mechanism. The resource will also be responsible for collaborating across departments like product, technology and customer service towards providing inputs for excellent customer experience.
This role requires ownership, proactiveness and a commitment to operational excellence, as well as creative thinking with a strong customer-centric mindset. This role calls for versatile resources who have a knack for solving problems along with the ability to push new initiatives, positively challenge the status quo and roll their sleeves to achieve success.
Purpose:
To achieve 100% operational efficiency, zero deficiency activities, adherence to processes & supporting revenue generation activities by effective reporting of metrics to the product, sales & customer service teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Agreements Repository & Standard Operating Procedures: Ensure all agreements are updated and relevant, payouts & receipts are made in line with the same & SOPs are followed accurately.
- Invoicing and Receivables management: Overseeing the receivables portfolio, including producing finance documents, booking, billing and cash applications.
- Implementing policies: Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are followed wherever created and create SOPs & policies to promote organizational compliance.
- Developing strategies: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize resource utilization and enhance operational processes.
- Collaborating with teams: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and deliver customer service.
- Managing budgets: Analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to optimize profitability.
- Identifying problems: Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Enforcing standards: Enforcing regulatory and safety standards.
- Managing staff: Supervising, hiring, and training employees.
- Managing quality assurance: Managing quality assurance programs.
- Strategizing process improvements: Strategizing process improvements.
- Capture Failure scenarios.
Requirements:
- Post Graduate/Graduate with experience in Operations in the financial services or fintech domain.
- Strong alignment towards process and policies to ensure zero deviations from day one.
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years.
- Positive attitude and go getter.
- Persuasive, adaptable & innovative.
- Team player capable of collaborating across functions.
