Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in both functional configuration and technical implementation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) modules, including configuration, technical enhancements, system integration, and data migration. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless SAP FICO system implementation and integration with other SAP modules.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant with a strong background in both functional and technical aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP FICO Functional Configuration & Implementation:
- Lead the configuration of SAP FICO modules (FI, CO, AA, and integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP).
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand finance and controlling requirements, ensuring the system is configured to meet business needs.
- Implement best practices for financial accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) and management accounting (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders).
- Configure the system for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring smooth financial and cost management processes are set up.
- Technical Implementation & Customization:
- Collaborate with the technical team to design and implement custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements in SAP FICO.
- Lead the development of ABAP-based customizations (user exits, BAPIs, BADIs) to ensure that the system is tailored to business needs.
- Implement SAP FICO-specific custom logic to support financial processes (eg, accounting entries, billing, cost allocation) through ABAP programming.
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM) using standard SAP interfaces and custom integrations.
- Data Migration & Integration:
- Lead data migration activities, including mapping Legacy data to SAP FICO structures and using tools like LSMW, BODS, or SAP Data Services.
- Ensure successful integration of SAP FICO with other enterprise systems (third-party software, Legacy systems).
- Develop and execute data migration and integration test scripts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- System Configuration & Custom Development:
- Implement functional and technical designs for custom development within SAP FICO based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team to implement ABAP code for custom reports, forms (eg, SAPscript, Smart Forms), and workflows in SAP FICO.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements during SAP FICO configuration and development.
- Project Implementation & Support:
- Take ownership of end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO modules, ensuring project milestones and timelines are met.
- Lead workshops, gather business requirements, and configure the SAP FICO system based on those requirements.
- Provide support during all phases of the project: planning, design, testing, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support.
- Collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure necessary fixes and improvements are implemented.
- Testing, Troubleshooting & Post-Go-Live Support:
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT for SAP FICO-related developments.
- Troubleshoot issues in the SAP FICO system and develop corrective actions for system errors.
- Provide ongoing support for the SAP FICO system after the Go-Live, including resolving issues, system optimization, and enhancements.
- Training & Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users, helping them understand the new SAP FICO processes and functionalities.
- Create detailed documentation for SAP FICO configurations, customizations, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
- Provide post-implementation training and hand-holding support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption.
- Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization:
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives for SAP FICO, optimizing configuration, processes, and performance.
- Suggest and implement best practices for financial management, reporting, and cost control.
- Participate in regular system reviews and audits to ensure SAP FICO system integrity and alignment with business needs.
