We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in S/4HANA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming, and be well-versed in the latest technologies and best practices related to SAP S/4HANA. This role involves the development, customization, and enhancement of SAP modules to meet the business needs of our organization.

Role & responsibilities:

• ABAP Development: Lead and manage SAP FICO mDesign, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) in S/4HANA. module implementation and support projects.
• S/4HANA Expertise: Leverage the latest SAP S/4HANA capabilities, including CDS views, AMDP, and OData services, for developing custom solutions.
• Technical Specifications: Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and other systems using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs and Web Services.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize ABAP code and database queries to improve performance and efficiency in the S/4HANA environment.
• API Integration: Work on the development and extension of API's and its integration with third party applications.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues in SAP systems, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of ABAP developments, including design, code, and test cases.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ABAP programming (Reports, SmartForms, SAPScripts, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs). Strong experience with S/4HANA-specific technologies (CDS views, AMDP, OData, Fiori/UI5). Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks (BADI, Enhancement Points). Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, etc.
• Other Skills: Experience with SAP Workflow and Adobe Forms is a plus. Familiarity with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, and other development tools.
• Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
