We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with a strong technical background and solution-shaping orientation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze both technical and business requirements to design optimal solutions. As a Snowflake Architect, you will play a crucial role in selecting the right technologies, shaping solutions, and providing technical guidance to meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and advise on the implementation of the customer's Snowflake platform
- Demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code, solution architectures, and implementation recommendations
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership for thought leadership and solution approaches
- Extract business requirements from customers and translate them into a well-architected recommendation
- Develop and provide forward-looking guidance and future state roadmaps
- Leverage known best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations
- Decompose future state goals into actionable execution plans
- Collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams to ensure customer alignment to Snowflake goals
- Work closely with Front End developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Lead in Developing Project requirements for end-to-end Data integration process using ETL for Structured, semi-structured, and Unstructured Data.
- Make necessary ongoing updates to modeling principles, processes, solutions, and best practices to ensure that the Snowflake is aligned with the business needs of the environment.
- 8+ years of experience implementing data management solutions.
- Management consulting experience.
- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Resource monitors, RBAC controls, scalable virtual warehouse, SQL performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel, and automating them.
- Experience in handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML), and columnar PARQUET using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake.
- Experience in in re-clustering of the data in Snowflake with a good understanding on Micro-Partitions.
- Experience in Migration processes to Snowflake from an on-premises database environment.
- Experience in designing and building manual or auto-ingestion data pipelines using Snowpipe.
- Experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS - S3, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, RDS
- Design and Develop automated monitoring processes on Snowflake using combination of Python, PySpark, Bash with SnowSQL.
- SnowSQL Experience in developing stored Procedures and writing Queries to analyze and transform data.
- Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable).
