Position Summary:

Pega BPM Architect role for Cigna is responsible for architecting and designing the applications in the Health Insurance domain using the Pega PRPC and frameworks. Provide the guidance to project teams. Taking leadership to across all BPM projects, solving the complex business requirements. Develops and provide guidance to advance knowledge of PRPC architecture and design. Strong experience in scoping, planning, and delivering the Pega Projects for Cigna/CHSI needs.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Provide the technical leadership to project teams.
  • Engage with the business users and understand the business requirements.
  • Derive and enforce the best practices in PEGA BPM.
  • Design and development of Pega application interfaces and integrations.
  • To prepare and submit the status reports for the ongoing projects.
  • To develop and guide the team members in enhancing the technical capabilities and increasing the productivity.
  • Create the functional design, construction of class hierarchy and object models.
  • Defining the Testing strategies
  • Perform code review for both internal and external developers.
  • Help create and document test plans and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years developing/Leading experience in Pega projects

Experience Desired:

  • Experience in Pega 6.x,7.x and 8.x
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) techniques

Education and Training Required:

  • A bachelors or master's degree in computer science/engineering, or similar majors.
  • Pega certifications, CLSA must

Primary Skills:

  • Pega BPM, LSA (Mandatory for Architects/below level LSA certification for Developers)+ Java or any programming language
  • Having knowledge of Pega RPA/Appian/Mendix/Outsystems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Interop and packages such as MS Excel (VBA scripting), MS Visio, MS Access, MS Word.
  • Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Additional Skills:

  • Proven experience in requirement gathering and analysis (ability to work in a structured and methodical approach, combined with an out-of-the-box thinking)
  • Proven experience with design principles, object-oriented design and modular programming techniques.
  • Excellent Communication and Analytical skills.
