Job Title: Creative Design Head

Location: Chandigarh

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Creative Design Head to lead our talented team of graphic designers and video editors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative design, preferably within FMCG, brand management, or marketing agencies. Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Suite and CorelDRAW is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Design Process:

Oversee the design team through every stage of the creative process, from ideation to final execution. Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with the brand's vision. Continuously evaluate workflows to optimize efficiency and output quality.

Create Impactful Designs:

Develop visually engaging and innovative designs tailored for digital, print, and social media platforms. Ensure all designs resonate with the brand's identity and appeal to the target audience. Prioritize creativity while adhering to industry best practices for design aesthetics.

Provide Hands-on Expertise:

Utilize expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD), Figma, CorelDRAW, and basic 3D tools to guide the team. Act as a technical resource for complex design challenges, ensuring the team delivers top-tier outputs consistently.

Manage and Mentor the Design Team:

Lead and inspire a team of 8+ designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and identify growth opportunities for team members. Encourage experimentation and learning to enhance creativity and skills.

Delegate Tasks Effectively:

Assign projects based on individual strengths and skill sets, ensuring optimal resource utilization. Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met without compromising quality. Address challenges proactively to keep the workflow seamless.

Collaborate with Multiple Departments:

Work closely with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align design strategies with overall business objectives. Act as a bridge between departments to ensure cohesive and impactful visual communications.

Maintain Design Consistency:

Ensure uniformity in all creative outputs, such as social media content, website assets, packaging designs, and promotional materials. Conduct regular reviews to confirm adherence to the brand's visual identity and guidelines.

Develop & Uphold Brand Guidelines:

Establish comprehensive brand guidelines that outline visual standards, color schemes, typography, and design elements. Regularly update these guidelines to reflect evolving brand needs and market trends, ensuring consistency across all mediums.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the design industry. Incorporate relevant updates into creative strategies, ensuring designs remain fresh, competitive, and aligned with audience expectations.

Review and Approve Designs:

Conduct thorough quality checks and approve all design materials before they go live. Evaluate visuals for clarity, creativity, and adherence to brand standards, ensuring every output creates a strong visual impact.

Refresh Design Assets Regularly:

Maintain a library of updated and refreshed design assets that align with seasonal and market demands. Periodically introduce new elements to keep designs engaging and relevant for the target audience.

Foster a Positive Team Culture:

Cultivate an open and encouraging environment where team members feel valued and motivated. Promote collaboration, creativity, and innovation, ensuring the team consistently delivers outstanding results. Conduct team-building activities to strengthen bonds and improve productivity.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5-10 years of relevant professional experience in creative design, with substantial expertise in FMCG, brand marketing, or marketing agency environments.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD), Figma, CorelDRAW, and basic 3D tools to guide the team.

Leadership Abilities:

Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and mentoring creative teams, fostering growth, and driving exceptional performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with cross-functional teams to achieve aligned business goals.
