Key Responsibilities - Graphic Design:
Teaching & Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Graphic Design, Digital
Illustration, Animation (2D/3D), and VFX.
Design course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessment tools that align with current
industry standards.
Utilize a blend of theory, hands-on practical sessions, and project-based learning to enhance
student understanding and creativity.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in the field of digital design and
animation.
Key Responsibilities - Video Production:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in audio and video production,
photography, radio and podcast production, digital storytelling.
Develop curriculum and create engaging course content.
Guide students in practical media projects, including documentaries, podcasts, and new
media productions.
Participate in departmental and university activities.
Industry Collaboration & Networking:
Build and maintain connections with the design, animation, and entertainment industry to
enhance learning opportunities for students, including internships and live projects.
Invite industry experts for guest lectures, workshops, or seminars to give students real-world
insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Master's degree (or higher) in Graphic Design, Animation, VFX, Visual Communication, or
a related field.
A Master's/PhD in Communication or a related field. (Applicable for Video Production)
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the design, animation, or VFX
industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Autodesk Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D,
Nuke, and other relevant tools for design and animation.
Previous teaching experience at the university level or equivalent experience in a mentoring
capacity is preferred.
A strong portfolio showcasing professional work in graphic design, illustration, animation,
and/or VFX.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, visual storytelling, and
motion graphics.
Ability to teach a range of technical skills in both traditional and digital design and animation
techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
