Are you an experienced Senior Data Engineer, looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work on a completely greenfield project for a global insurance firm? Do you have strong experience with Python, Fabric and AirFlow?
If so, this could be a great fit for you.
My client, a global Insurance company is at the very start of a multi-year project. You'll work closely with the Chief Data Officer to help develop and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the company. My client uses the MS stack, Azure, Fabric, Synapse etc as well as Airflow and Python.
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing and implementing data pipelines
- Utilizing AirFlow to orchestrate data flows
- Developer and implement data quality checks
- Writing efficient and maintainable code for data manipulation
- Staying up to date with latest advancements in data engineering technologies
The Senior Data Engineer will have:
- Minimum 5 years a s Data Engineer
- Proven experience designing and developing data pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Data stack (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse)
- Experience with AirFlow
- Experience with MS Fabric
This office is an on-site based role. You'll be working collaboratively with the CDO 5 times a week, in a stunning Dublin-based office.
