Key Account Manager - Ocean Freight - Freight Forwarding

My client, an award-winning multinational freight forwarder, is expanding their Ocean Freight department and requires the expertise of a seasoned Ocean Freight Team Leader to bolster their dynamic export team. This role involves the management of a small team, with a sole focus on Ocean Freight (FCL & LCL), and reporting directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all export operations (Hands-on Operationally)
• Providing leadership to a team of Ocean Freight Operators
• Ensuring smooth and efficient operations with a focus on client satisfaction
• Implementing and monitoring SOPs and KPIs
• Routine reporting to senior management

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Ocean operations, FCL, and LCL required - Project Cargo advantageous
• Strong team leadership and management skills
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and operations management
