Technical Programme Manager - Retail
Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Location: Paddington (2-3 days per week)
A leading high-street retailer is looking for a Technical Programme Manage r to drive the delivery of complex, large-scale technology change across both customer-facing and operational systems.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of business and technology, where you'll lead programmes spanning multiple teams, platforms, and environments.
You will have the following responsibilities:
Leading end-to-end delivery of complex technology programmes in a live retail environment
Managing multiple workstreams across Product, Engineering, Architecture & Cyber Security
Coordinating with Store Operations and third-party partners
Owning delivery plans, risks, dependencies, budgets, and governance
Ensuring smooth rollout and operational readiness with minimal disruption
You'll have the following the skills/experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Programme Manager in complex environments
Strong technical understanding with the ability to engage engineering teams
Experience delivering large-scale, multi-workstream programmes
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
