Release/Environment Management - Delivery - DevOps - CI/CD - Jenkins - Ansible (hands-on) - VP Level

Permanent, up to £110,000 + Benefits, Bonus.* Hybrid 2 days office

Leading financial services client is looking for an Application Platform Operations Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a delivery role, focussed on environment/release management and deployment. Hands-on role (no line management), BAU and creating standards. You will be suporting the development, architect and the application security team in delivering and maintaining the Application Cyber Security strategies by ensuring governance and rigour is applied to existing security processes and practices.

Skills and experience required:

• Delivery focussed
• Environment/Release Management
• Experience looking at OS, application/component dependencies
• Hands-on (Jenkins, Ansible)
• CI/CD
• Automation/writing scripts
• BAU role creating standards
• Any exposure to the security side (SAST, DAST, SCA tooling) - desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working with distributed teams with offshore resources
