We are seeking to recruit an experienced Primary Education Curriculum Writer to create educational materials for children aged 6-12 in print and digital formats, utilizing age-appropriate teaching methods and digital tools to support learning in classrooms, at home, and online.
Your duties will include:
- Lead the curriculum planning and development process for educational materials for students at the primary level.
- Develop an overarching pedagogical framework grounded in global best practices and cutting-edge research to support the teaching and learning of primary students.
- Research high-quality educational materials and conceptualize the layout and structure of educational resources for both teachers and students.
- Form and manage a team involved in the development of curriculum content, including teachers, subject matter specialists, designers, editors, and translators.
- Coordinate and work alongside the teacher educator for the primary Ta'lim curriculum to pilot test materials and create a feedback loop for recommendations.
Your qualities/skills:
- A teaching qualification with substantial experience in Primary Education.
- Extensive experience in teaching the 6-12 years age group in a secular school setting.
- Expertise in writing and/or publishing for children of this age group.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in coordinating multiple workflows and achieving outcomes while working within resource constraints.
