This is a *UK* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Leading and oversee the registration of political parties and campaigners, including maintaining up-to-date and accurate registers.*

Overview
Join a high-performing leadership team shaping the integrity and transparency of democratic processes across the UK. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational excellence to ensure trust in political activity and fair, transparent practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the registration of political parties and campaigners, including maintaining up-to-date and accurate registers.
• Manage the receipt, publication, and review of financial returns to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Make evidence-based, risk-informed decisions in a fast-paced and politically high-profile environment.
• Own and develop quality systems for financial and regulatory data, ensuring best practice in information management.
• Contribute to the leadership of the directorate and wider organisation, shaping strategic priorities and regulatory approaches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across political parties, governments, and regulators.
• Inspire, develop, and manage the Registration, Compliance & Transparency team to deliver against ambitious goals with professionalism and integrity.

About You
You'll bring strong leadership experience in a complex regulatory or governance environment, excellent judgement under pressure, and the ability to navigate sensitive political contexts with confidence and independence. A background in policy, regulation, or public administration would be beneficial.
