Salary: £40,609 - £50,288 per annumContract: January 2025 to July 2025 (long-term), with the potential for a permanent role starting September 2025.

Your Role as a Year 1 Class Teacher

  • Inspire and Engage: Design and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborative Planning: Partner with the parallel teacher to plan and execute effective lessons.
  • Set Clear Objectives: Establish clear targets based on students' prior achievements.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Meet school and national assessment requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting on student progress.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise Learning Support Assistants and other classroom helpers.
  • Active participation: Engage in school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading assemblies.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
  • Experience: Proven experience in UK primary schools, particularly in Key Stage 1.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism: High standards of professionalism, with the ability to work efficiently within policies and procedures.
