Lead Security Architects (2 positions) to implement security solutions for infrastructure, network and application security.

Duration: Cross-government Digital and Data services project (2 year duration).
Location: Hybrid working: Sites in London or Manchester (possibly Bristol too)
Day rate: up to £600 day, inside IR35

You will Lead Security Architecture specifying the security technical controls and developing design patterns based on solid security principles. Working with colleagues from across government, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Cabinet Office Government Security Group (GSG)

Leadership skills:

• Must be able to operate at a Senior Stakeholder level (across government) to Influence and assess security needs.
• Must have the gravitas to enforce security measures and explain the benefits to key stakeholders.

Experience & Technical skills:

• Security Design experience
• Understand and have experience of Cyber Security Risks.
• Must be able to implement Security Solutions for Infrastructure, Networks, Application Security environments
• Must be able to assess Security Advantages and vulnerabilities of common products and techniques.
• Experience of Cloud Computing Architecture
• Implementation of the Secure by Design principles on GitHub.
• Familiarity with cloud computing architecture, including security risks and mitigations.
• Knowledge of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and Open Enterprise Security Architecture (O-ESA).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with and influence diverse stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions.
