Experience required:
- You will have prior experience in loan underwriting within bridging or development finance.
- You ll have the ability to build great rapport and establish strong working relationships with colleagues/brokers/solicitors/customers.
- Strong communication skills are a must as you ll be required to give credible reasoning for considering/declining deals.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & IT literate with a good ability to adapt to new systems and platforms.
- Reviewing funding applications and proceed through the underwriting process to loan completion.
- Carry out credit/fraud checks.
- Instruct valuation reports/solicitors.
- Administer live cases through to redemption of the loan.
- Liaise with lawyers, surveyors, brokers and borrowers to ensure the loan and due diligence process progresses smoothly.
- Conduct post-completion communication with borrowers to ensure their project is progressing satisfactorily.
