Windows Infrastructure Engineer - VMWare (Design/Implement) - PowerShell/Python - SCCM

Permanent, up to £90,000 + benefits, bonus.* Remote working 2 days office

Leading financial services client is looking for a Wintel Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role requires SME-level experience for supporting multiple resilient solutions in an enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environment, Windows 10, VMWare, and Citrix. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure) in the future.

Skills and experience required:

• Strong VMWare experience - design/implementation
• Strong Wintel background - Windows Server, Windows 10 and On-line (M365) solutions in an enterprise Microsoft Windows/Active Directory environment
• Strong Scripting skills (Powershell, Python)
• Any exposure to Ansible is desirable
• Experience of supporting a production VMware environment (vCentre)
• Experience of supporting data backup technologies
• Patching using SCCM
• Cloud - AWS (ideally), Azure
