Development Technical Lead - Data Analytics (DA) Expert ETL/Azure tech stack - London, hybrid 12 months

Rate: Market Outside IR35

The Development Technical Lead will be an expert in Data and Analytics solution design and implementation using Agile and equivalent methodologies; leading a development team whose responsibility is to deliver complex data and BI products.

Team leadership skills will be required to build an effective development team and lead them through implementation of the Data Analytics deliverables in line with DA standards and processes

Key Knowledge/Skills

? Expert knowledge of ELT (ingestion, cleansing and curation of data) using Azure tech stack, ETL, data warehousing, data modelling, dealing with big data, dealing with Real Time data solutions

? Good understanding and knowledge in implementing metadata-based data frameworks/platforms

? Expert knowledge of data schema structures and design and how they can be correctly applied to deliver robust solutions that meet specifications#8239;

? ETL coding standards: ensuring that code is standardised, self-documenting and can be reliably tested

? Expert knowledge using cloud data products like Data Factory, Event Hubs, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL server, Azure Data Explorer.#8239;#8239;

? Expert knowledge in developing in Databricks and experience in coding with PySpark. Spark SQL#8239;#8239;

You will be accountable for the development processes and accountable for the design, build and test of data products based on a variety of data sources, using a range of different storage technologies, access methods or both to ensure that created products are repeatable and reusable. #8239;

? They will be expected to author and review design standards to be agreed at the relevant technical forums within DA.

? Uphold the principles and standards of Data Analytics to ensure that work delivered is of high quality, well rounded, robust, very high performing, and meets the priorities set by the agile process

? Expert knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, Datamodelling and experience dealing with big data is expected. Along with expert knowledge of data schema structures, design and how they can be correctly applied to deliver robust solutions that meet specifications.#8239;

? Knowledge of emerging data technologies as well as database design, AI concepts and data migrations is also required.#8239;

? Excellent communication skills are needed to allow effective translation of sophisticated concepts into easily understood languages across a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers and other internal teams including Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers and BI/Data Architects.#8239;
