Our global financial services client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their Data Acquisition team. This is a key role working on complex, high-impact regulatory and transformational projects across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build and run SQL queries to analyze, reconcile, and interrogate data
• Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of logic, data, and systems
• Develop deep knowledge of key databases, architectures, and integrations
• Provide technical leadership and direction on project implementation
• Consult with business stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Perform quality control and risk management for project deliverables
• Develop artifacts such as requirements documentation, test plans, and project plans

Requirements:

• 5+ years of business analysis experience, ideally in financial services
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data analysis using Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing requirements
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of working independently

Preferred Skills:

• Experience within an investment banking or financial services environment
• Data visualization and Python coding skills
