We are currently looking for dynamic individual to join our Change & Transformation Practice as a Payments Business Analyst; delivering a Payments Regulation project.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst, where they will be responsible for delivering wholesale regulatory change across the payments function for a multination Investment Bank.

The successful consultant will need to have experience with Payments and Regulatory Projects who can work alongside clients/stakeholders to scope, define and develop requirements supporting delivery for Payments transformation programme.

The role:

  • Perform detailed analysis scanning the latest regulatory developments, publications

  • Interpreting new and revised regulation & assessing impact to the Payment business in a controlled & standardised manner

  • Lead the engagement and meetings with cross functional partners & working with them to identify forthcoming business initiatives that may impact Payments/Regulatory reporting

  • Perform cross Product impact analysis & assessing impact of new regulatory implications on across Payments

  • Produces regulatory & product changes roadmap to support book of work prioritisation

  • Maintain regulation inventory and acts as a point of contact for internal stakeholders assisting in regulation related queries across Payments work streams

  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base, maintaining up to date procedures & supporting delivery of key metrics for the team

  • Ensure all agreed outputs and decisions are documented in the agreed tools, throughout the project life cycle, from initial capture through various stages of refinement and through to delivery

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within a Payments environment, in an investment banking context.

  • Good understanding/experience across Payments regulation with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and share comprehensive assessment to key stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions

  • Proven understanding of Payments products: SEPA, Wires, Direct Debits, FX, Paper payables/receivables, Card Payments including awareness of industry standards (ISO, Swift)

  • Proven understanding of regulation specially on Anti Money Laundering, Payment Services Directive, Account reporting, Statistical & Balance of Payments Reporting

  • Technical skills on JIRA, Confluence, Alteryx

  • Ability to manage key stakeholders & lead effective meetings to support the strategic agenda

  • Autonomous & strong team player willing to work closely with multiple global teams, promote partnership, encourages collaboration, information sharing and discussion to break down silos

  • Ability to breakdown and convey complex information to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.

  • Sound reporting skills including activity reports and compiling document release notes for stakeholders.

  • Collaborative team player who can ensure deadlines are met and scope is adhered to by the team
