Pensions SME - Defined Benefit Data Migration (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £575 per day + Inside IR35 - Fully Remote
 

Pensions SME with Data Migration experience and strong SQL required by a large Financial Services firm. You will need to have prior experience of migrating and mapping pensions admin data for Defined Benefit (DB) occupational schemes from a major third-party administration system to another. You will need to be able to demonstrate awareness of how to calculate a DB pension with experience of mapping DB data and knowing what to look for in deferred DB data.

Knowledge of Defined Contribution schemes is nice to have, with an undersanding of lifestyling and switching.

In addition you should have a passion for technical detail and problem solving with excellent client facing skills. You'll be working in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent projects. You will need strong analysis skills to ensure client changes and installations are right first time. You will need excellent understanding of database table design and dependencies with significant experience of data comparison and experience of direct database use with strong SQL. Clear and concise communication skills are essential.

The role will involve:

Onboarding new pension clients across multiple product lines.
Analysing scheme benefit structures and incoming client data.
Data Interface analysis and configuration.
Data migration analysis, mapping and validation.
Scheme configuration within the administration systems.
Working closely with new clients as well as the Installs and Data Migration teams and other owners in non technology teams involved in the business change to ensure that the implementation of new clients and client changes achieve high quality outcomes within the administration function post implementation.

This is a 6 month initial contract paying circa £575/day, inside IR35 with the ability to work fully remote.
