Credit Controller

Our central Bristol based professional services client are looking for an experienced credit controller to join the collections team who focus on their public sector customer base. This responsible role requires a collections professional who has worked with challenging customers and who can show empathy and understanding to a situation while maintaining a professional approach resulting in on time payment as agreed. You'll be someone who is very organised, has the ability to communicate extremely well, both on the phone and via email, and who takes pride in reducing and maintaining low debtor days on your portfolio. You'll be a collections professional who has excellent administration skills able to lay your hand on anything required in order to evidence the request for payment and you'll be comfortable challenging what you're being told by using factual documentation providing copies when necessary. This position requires you to be in the office twice a month for meetings (more if you would like it), is walkable from both the central Bristol bus and train stations and comes with a 10% company performance bonus.
