You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager/Business Analyst
• An excellent background on the buy-side with an asset manager, investment manager or hedge fund
• Experience delivering a Front Office trading portfolio management system or order management system (OMS/PMS)
• Excellent road-map design and future product planning experience
• Knowledge of equity, FX, Fixed Income or commodity markets
• Great ability to work between technical and business teams
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Pre-trade research and order management
• AI or machine learning

Role: REMOTE Product Manager (Product Owner Product Manager Business Analyst Buy Side Buy-Side Trading Applications Front Office Equity Equities FX Fixed Income Commodities Agile Derivatives Mobile iOS Research OMS AI Machine Learning Finance Asset Manager Investment Management Hedge Fund Contract Contractor Consultant) required by our asset management client in London. You will be working with an existing team of 18 engineers, split in two for front and back emphasis, who are building an order management system (OMS)/portfolio management system (PMS) application. The application collates research data from across the company and uses it to make investment suggestions to the portfolio managers. It allows the portfolio managers to run 'what-if' scenarios on their portfolios, that they can then choose to execute if they want to. The application has reporting, order entry and modelling capabilities. Soon, it should also be transferred to mobile devices and include elements of AI and machine learning. It's used heavily across the equities department, significantly across Fixed Income and increasingly in the cross-asset areas.

You will be working with senior portfolio managers from the business to build out a future road map of the products functionality, look and feel. You MUST come with experience working on the buy-side with an asset manager and MUST have worked on an in-house built order management system or portfolio management system- working closely with in-house development and engineering teams. This will mean you have a well-rounded understanding of investment management, the Front Office and trade processes.

Salary: £100k - £130k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
