Location: London Country: UK Rate: £550 - £600 per day + inside IR35
Role - Security Architect
Rate - £600 per day (Inside IR35)Location - London preferred but have offices in Bristol and Manchester (3 days per week)
Duration - 2 years
Start date - 6th January 2025
This opportunity is about making our government more secure. What will you be doing is creating secure, robust solutions for within government services. As a Lead Security Architect, you'll work with to develop and enhance the Secure by Design Artefacts Library, ensuring critical services are secure and resilient.
Key Responsibilities you will be doing:
Engage with stakeholders across government organisations to identify and define security needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communities to influence security outcomes on a broader scale.
Research and apply innovative solutions to security challenges, justifying and effectively communicating design decisions.
Develop security artefacts to support the implementation of Secure by Design principles, using platforms like GitHub.
Technical Expertise that needs to be showcased:
Proven experience in specifying security technical controls and developing design patterns aligned with security design principles.
Proficiency in using GitHub for collaboration and documentation.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity risks and experience in implementing solutions for infrastructure, network, and application security.
Familiarity with the security benefits and vulnerabilities of widely used technologies and products.
Solid knowledge of cloud computing architectures and associated security measures.
Understanding of frameworks such as Open Enterprise Security Architecture (O-ESA) and Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).
