This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting central government organisation as an Enterprise Architect for an initial 6 month period.
Client Details
My client is a central government organisation with sites in London and the Midlands. Due to continued growth and a large IT systems portfolio they require an Enterprise Architect to join them for a minimum of 6 months.
Description
The successful Enterprise Architect will:
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement IT strategies
- Ensure the alignment of business and technology strategies
- Advise on technology trends and best practices
- Develop architectural models to guide IT investment decisions
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of IT services and products
- Contribute to the development of IT policies and standards
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight during project delivery
- Promote the sharing and reuse of IT assets across the department
Profile
The successful Enterprise Architect should have:
- Experience in enterprise architecture methodologies and tools
- Good understanding of solution architecture principles, a background in solutioning would be beneficial
- Knowledge of IT governance and operations
- Understanding of technology trends and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Offer
£550 - £650 per day dependent on experience (rate to umbrella, inside IR35).
This role is hybrid and the successful candidate will need to be on-site infrequently as projects require.
