Sales and Estimating Engineer

Location: Halesowen, West Midlands
Hours: 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: 31,000 - 32,500 p/a.

I am really pleased to be recruiting for my market leading client who is adding to their sales team with the position of sales and estimating engineer.

The position of sales and estimating engineer job purpose is to help support the delivery of company sales plan to set quality, delivery and cost performance criteria. The help deliver KPI's and support improvement to achieve repeatability and profitability of supplied product.

The main duties for the sales and estimating engineer:

• Maintain, develop and nurture regular contact with established and emerging clients.
• Work closely with the business development and marketing department to support the delivery of the company sales strategy.
• Prepare and submit quotations and accurate estimations.
• Updating and maintaining estimation quotation database and CRM system.
• Read and interpret customer demand forecasts.
• Support tender proposals.
• Support project management working alongside other departments.

The ideal candidate will also be expected to:

• Support maintenance and improvement of departmental KPIs.
• Produce estimates and quotations.
• Build and develop professional relationship with external stakeholders.
• Develop the estimating system to improve process and systems use.
