AWS Cloud Engineer for a Cloud consultancy based in Aberdeen and Dundee.

They are well known for their expertise within AWS but are now also diversifying into the other areas within cloud. Along with this diversification, they are expanding their AWS offering with an exciting release planned within the next year which you'll play a major part in. The company work with a range of clients across different sectors and have had a lot of large scale projects kick off lately.

You will have a strong background in AWS with ideally some exposure and understanding with Azure. You will be working with customers taking end to end ownership and understanding their requirements, using your expertise to assist with the design of the project, testing, and delivering the migrations. To ensure these projects are carried out sufficiently, they are someone who has experience within a similar role, who has strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Bash or Perl, and continuous integration/delivery tools, such as Github.

They're a small team of AWS Engineers and in terms of team fit, they are ideally looking for someone that isn't afraid to be really hands-on but is also big on knowledge sharing. Up to this point, they feel like they've maybe lacked in sharing information across the business and really want to improve this going forward, so evidence of good documentation would again be a big plus.

The salary on offer is circa £70K with a hybrid work model (1 day a week on site at either of their Aberdeen or Dundee office), with a strong benefits package which includes 34 days holiday, Health Cash Plan, excellent Pension, and many more staff discounts and benefits.
