Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation? VIQU Recruitment is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a leading organisation in Birmingham.

About the Role:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and directing the internal and Back Office technical support functions within a robust IT consultancy in the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for creation and ongoing refresh of all Customer Service, Professional Services & Business Technology/Corporate Architecture artefacts (target architectures and portfolio roadmaps) and architecture guardrails (Enterprise-wide principles & policies) to create a consistent, coherent & usable set of architecture artefacts.
• Work with the support and professional services architects & directors to deliver these in a federated organization structure.
• Oversee, review, and manage any Architecture Design Decisions - ADD's (and supplementary documentation including business cases) linked to all customer services and professional services domains, working with other Enterprise Architects, the wider Architecture community, and VP of Architecture & Strategy to ensure alignment and improve quality.
• Ensure alignment to technology domain artefacts and guardrails as part of any Architecture Review Board (ARB) submission and triage.
• Raise and manage any exceptions, waivers, risks, issues, or actions that may result from these architecture design decisions.
• Ensure clear owners are established, with accountabilities and timelines to close for future ARBs as required.
• Work to improve the RAG status of current architecture alignment to Guardrails and Artefacts, with a plan to return to green.
• Own the process for triage and management of any Customer Service or Professional Services driven architecturally significant change, ensuring the ARB pipeline is planned accordingly to support multiple levels of approval.
• Continual improvement of the Architecture operating model and ARB processes to optimize for Product and Portfolio teams.
• Provide technology thought leadership and direction.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect within a complex IT landscape.
• Strong technical background in at architecting Back Office services and IT infrastructure that support these services
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in Matrix and federated organizational structures.
• Familiarity with agile architecture operating models and modern workplace products and services.
• Experience in Salesforce/ServiceNow and NetSuite is highly beneficial
