PROJECT MANAGER (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £300 - £370 per day
 

REQUIRED: PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: FULLY REMOTE WITH 1-2 DAYS IN GLASGOW
DURATION: 12 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT
IR35 STATUS: INSIDE

Mandatory Skill
1. Adaptable and proactive approach, being able to work independently and influence stakeholders across a fast paced and intense working environment.
2. Experience in facilitating and managing critical business change at portfolio level.
3. Prior experience in financial industry required.
4. Prior experience in a Governance or Audit role.
5. Ability to shuffle priorities to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, business units and customers (PMT).
6. Proven ability to quickly interpret and translate complex requirements to fit within an existing Governance Model.
7. Understanding of Risk, Compliance, Governance, Control & Regulatory practices.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and present a range of written materials (presentations, briefings, reports) and to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in various global locations.
9. Sound experience of the project management life cycle.

1. Proven ability to quickly interpret and translate complex requirements to fit within an existing Governance Model.
2. Experience and/or knowledge with the use of Navigator.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Define and deliver governance and artefacts to support Group Stress Testing compliance across RFT.
2. Drive sharing of best practice across Group Stress Testing and the wider Group to drive consistency and excellence as part of an enhanced governance and oversight service.
3. Ensure evidence and audit trail is retained and stored appropriately (governance artefacts, board reporting, RAIDs etc).
4. Ensure robust governance is in place liaising consistently with the Stress Testing and Impairments PMO lead to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
5. Provision of project analytics and reporting, including but not limited to maintenance of management dashboards and executive summaries, provision of MI on change control, finances, RAIDS, etc. with supporting commentaries and insights.
6. Track and monitor consistency of governance approach across ST&I and communicate key messaging to the Group Stress Testing Stakeholder Group.
7. Contribute to the production of papers and reporting into the major Governance Forums across Stress Testing and Impairments.
8. Build relationships with programme stakeholders to share and embed best practice and support the overall Barclays Group's compliance.
9. Overseeing key project management deliverables across Stress Testing and Impairments.
10. Drive the Consistently Excellent agenda, challenge redundant processes, drive process improvements, provide innovative ideas and support proactive thinking within the team
