Technical Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Fareham Country: UK Rate: Excellent Day Rate OUTSIDE IR35
 

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to work within the law enforcement sector.

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

About the role: You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are well managed and controlled to make most efficient use of allocated resources, and maximise delivery of business benefits within Projects, Programmes and/or wider Portfolio.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Technical Project Manager background, Active NPPV3 and reside within a 1 hour commute of Fareham.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of ICT Project Manager having managed ICT projects in a similarly complex environment using an industry recognised approach such as Prince 2.
  • Experience of Project Management Tools to assist in the project management process by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording (Project Workbench, Microsoft Project).
  • An industry wide understanding of IT Architecture, Networks, Cloud Technologies & Infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Project Planning and Control Techniques Methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects eg product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, conflict resolution.
  • Experience of delivering the ICT components related to: varying sizes of office moves; building re-stacks; new building fit-outs and deployments; building exits.
