Senior Business Analyst - Software Engineering agile (Contract)
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Country: UK Rate: £500 pd
 

Senior IT Business Analyst required for a 6-12month contract (outside IR35 and mostly remote - in person get togethers once a month). You MUST have experience working closely with software engineering teams.

Experienced software focused senior business analyst, proven track record of working with engineering teams in the 3 amigos model and capability to provide detailed user stories. Experienced with Legacy systems analysis is key.

As a seasoned Business Analyst you must pride yourself on having the self confidence to hit the ground running with strong methods, communication and collaboration.

You will have experience of -

  • Proven experience in software-focused business analysis.
  • Providing detailed user stories.
  • Proficient in Legacy systems analysis.
  • Plan and conduct requirements elicitation workshops, delivering appropriate outputs for stakeholders.
  • Capture and document compliance requirements and user stories.
  • Manage and update analysis planning collateral (eg, backlog/Kanban).
  • Create user stories, success criteria, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support refinement sessions with the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand product, systems, and domain.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
  • Assist Senior BA with reporting, stakeholder management, and execution.
