This small languages department is seeking an additional French Teacher to join us on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. If you are not looking for a permanent post, the school are happy to consider a supply only option to potentially work until Christmas whilst they recruit a permanent candidate.
Role Overview:
As a French Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in learning the French language and culture. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the Modern Languages department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience teaching French at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for French language and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
