Contract Technical FX Endur Business Analyst - Energy Trading - Outside IR35

Only candidates with Endur and are technical Business Analysts rather than functional will be considered for this position.

Global Energy Trading company has just begun Phase 1 of a transformation programme and are working with V24 Endur for a number of greenfield projects.

The role

  • Implementation of a user defined simulation set which rescales FX deltas to FX notionals and maps FX gridpoints to exact payment dates
  • Integrate developed user defined simulation set into the EoD process via PnL object and ensure PnL object delivery into the central database/data backbone
  • Implement ad-hoc workflow triggered by deal capturing in Endur which calls user defined simulation set and publishes the result into the PnL object
  • Implement import and export jobs for certain instrument types between central database and Endur as part of the deal capturing process; this comprises intra-day event-triggered jobs and integration in the EoD process.
  • Develop/write user stories and develop acceptance criteria
  • Participation in workshops in an advisory role
  • Ad hoc processing of prioritised issues
  • Participation in the defined rituals (Daily, Refinement, Planning, Technical Design, Review, Retrospective, Development Jour Fixe, etc.) for the purpose of communicating performance status and clarifying the content of tasks
  • Assumption of release coordination as required
  • Instruction of the Client in the adapted or new functionality and other relevant aspects of the programming and configuration carried out

Your Background

  • Proven track record of building customized user defined simulation sets
  • Experience with efficient and parsimonious workflow design in OpenLink Endur
  • Experience with implementation of event-triggered workflows in Endur
  • Very good understanding of data transformations in Endur core
  • Experience with microservices which transmit data between Endur and the group's central database
  • Experience with FX forward curves and interest rate curves is a plus
