User Researcher - London - Outside IR35

Tecknuovo is a deliberately different digital consultancy, delivering secure, modern solutions while up skilling client teams to leave them with zero dependency. We are seeking an experienced User Researcher to support a complex, central government digital and AI-enabled programme. You will work across multi-service and regulated environments, ensuring user needs shape service design, platform decisions, and implementation approaches. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders etc. to deliver user-centred, secure, and operable services.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience delivering user research within complex, multi-stakeholder or regulated environments.

• Strong qualitative research expertise (interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, workshops).

• Experience mapping end-to-end current-state and future-state user journeys.

• Ability to synthesise insights across people, process, and technology.

• Experience working alongside technical teams (cloud, DevOps, data, AI).

• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.

• Experience contributing to digital transformation, EPR optimisation, or AI-enabled services.

• Excellent research documentation and insight communication skills.

Onsite: London - when needed (to be flexible with travel)

Rate: Around £500 per day (Outside IR35)

Contract: Initially 3 months
