Job Title: PMO Manager - Outsourcing (Senior Consultant)

Location: London, hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)

Duration: 6-12 months fixed term

Package: £70,000-£80,000 plus benefits

The role:
We're on the hunt for a PMO Manager with a solid track record in managing large-scale outsourcing programmes, ideally with some experience in the legal sector. In this role, you'll be a key player in steering our projects to success, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and client expectations are not just met but exceeded

You'll be managing project governance, spotting risks, and keeping everyone aligned so we can consistently deliver outstanding results.

This isn't a role where you'll be stuck in the background; you'll be front and centre, working closely with both clients and internal teams. We need someone who thrives on balancing multiple projects and isn't afraid to step in and shake things up when needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our project management office across a range of workstreams, involving large-scale outsourcing initiatives

  • Ensuring robust governance, reporting, and controls are in place and running smoothly

  • Collaborating with project leads and stakeholders to keep everyone informed, aligned, and moving forward

  • Identifying risks early and taking proactive measures to keep projects on track

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies

  • Acting as a mentor and guide to junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them grow

Who you are:

  • An experienced PMO professional with a round 8-10+ years in project management, ideally on large outsourcing programmes .

  • A champion of all things PMO-related, able to showcase the value-add of PMO at exec level

  • Knowledgeable in project management methodologies, but flexible and able to adapt to different clients and project needs

  • A confident communicator who can break down complex information into plain English for clients and teams alike

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities w hilst maintaining calm under pressure

  • Experience in the legal sector would be a b ig advantage
