Job Description:
- Deliver expert professional services to high-profile clients, leveraging your deep knowledge of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems.
- Apply your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement high-quality, tailored solutions for clients.
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy development to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap, effectively communicating your strategy to key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for any changes or enhancements related to the ETRM/Trade Management System.
- Manage and control data associated with change requests to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the system.
- Actively participate in planning meetings, effectively manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain control of the product roadmap.
- Drive the continuous delivery of enhancements and fixes to the business, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Embrace agile methodologies to foster a culture of flexibility, adaptability, and iterative improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years supporting business applications within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable experience working with ETRM systems, with a strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle.
- Proven ability to understand and apply knowledge of complex system business processes.
- Experience working with trade management systems in asset management or treasury environments would be a distinct advantage.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.
- Solid grasp of agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully applying agile principles in practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on delivering clear, concise, and accurate information.
- Fluency in English to a business level is essential.
- Ability to self-manage, work autonomously, and effectively prioritize tasks under pressure.
- A degree in a numerate discipline (eg, software engineering, mathematics) or equivalent professional experience is required.
