Cloud Security Specialist ( London/Leeds )

The Cloud Security Specialist role is within the assurance team, pivotal in managing and mitigating risks associated with the use of cloud services. The position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, best practices, and security controls. It's a hybrid role, you can either work in London (Preferred), Leeds or other offices.

Description

• Develop and implement a cloud assurance strategy
• Assess the risk and compliance of cloud services
• Develop cloud security policies and procedures
• Engage with cloud service providers to ensure compliance
• Work closely with the technology department to implement cloud solutions
• Advise on best practices, security controls for cloud usage
• Provide training and support to staff on cloud technologies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends

Profile

• Deep understanding of cloud technologies and security, best practices for cloud
• Experience in assurance, controls and security in relation to both cloud and on-premise services
• Experience in Azure cloud security, with AWS experience will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevSecOps, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, networking, Firewalls
• Must be eligible for SC Cleared
