SAP EPPM Consultant (SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) - Remote - 9 months +

(SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management, SAP EPPM, SAP Developer, SAP HCM, SAP Human Capital Management, HR, SAP HR, SAP DMS, SAP Document Management System)

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SAP EPPM Consultant (SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) for a remote role

Please find some details below:

Description:

1. Technical expertise in EPPM

a. Master Data:

i. Business Partner creation/Employee Overview - Since there is no integration between SAP HCM and SAP EPPM, there is a manual activity of creating business partners (for Design Managers and Designers) ii. Resource Pool creation - Since there is no active org structure that is replicated from HR mini master, the design offices are to be replicated by creating resource pools which will be utilized during the staffing of the Roles in the project management.

iii. Defining Dashboards - Resource Pool related configuration in EPPM.

iv. Availability of resources based on manual entries (due to the lack of HCM integration).

v. Knowledge of BW related structures and extractors in PPM-PRO, PPM-PRP for the reporting.

b. Project Management:

i. Projects creation (DPR), tasks and role assignments and synchronization, and manage timelines (using constraints derived from OE), assigning resources (defined under a resource pools not translated to HCM Org Structures), and tracking progress with confirmation on the tasks.

ii. Manage effort, duration, and task scheduling and assign work to the responsible person's dashboard.

iii. In-depth understanding of Project Management related classes and APIs.

iv. Knowledge of Authorization control in PPM-PRO v. Understanding of Object Links and creation of custom Object Links.

c. Resource Management:

i. In-depth knowledge of PRP related classes and APIs.

ii. Employee Overview (also part of master data) - but this corresponds to necessary checks iii. In-depth understanding of the following Staffing Processes 1. Project Lead 2. Resource Manager via Authorization 3. Resource Manager via Responsible Organization

d. SAP DMS (PLM):

i. Knowledge of SAP DMS since we are working with document management system in SAP. Document type "D10" is to be object linked to the materials used in OE/EPPM.

ii. Version management

iii. Handling originals from SAP DMS and reading files from the content server.

e. SAP HCM - This is an optional skill but will come in handy if and when the integration with the HCM system is activated.

Please note - this does not include the portions of the standard solution which are not used today but might be interesting in the future. For example: Financial integration with CO, Cost Analysis and Report for Project expenses, Portfolios, Initiatives and Items.
