Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is representing a global airline partner who are seeking a talented individual like you to spearhead their IT landscape transformation program. Operating Inside IR35 with hybrid working options in the vibrant heart of London.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you'll be at the forefront of implementing state of the art technology into to the existing systems and Servers, driving the modernization and upgrades to meet the organisations objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the prompt delivery of system changes, adhering to Architectural guidelines and project timelines.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with System Architects and delivery teams to streamline the delivery pipeline.
  • Spearhead the implementation and enhancement of AWS services across existing systems and Servers.
  • Seamlessly integrate an array of technologies such as C, C++, Java, J2EE, Springboot, AWS, Terraform, DevOps, and Python into the project ecosystem.
  • Upgrading and modernizing the entire AWS infrastructure, replacing Legacy systems.

What you will Ideally Bring:

  • Proven knowledge/experience in large scale transformation projects
  • Proficient in relay technical requirements to engineers, seeing the implementation end to end
  • Strong troubleshooting experience, with the ability to escalate and deescalate issues.
  • Relevant professional experience with airline groups in the past would be a bonus

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Hybrid - London
  • Day Rate: Up to £550 Per Day (Inside IR35)
