SAP Data Architect

Nicholas Bernard are looking for a talented and experienced Data Architect specialized in standardizing data for common products within the procurement ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling large volumes of data, along with extensive experience in managing migrations and integrations of diverse data sources. Additionally, proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and SAP HANA is required to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Standardization: Develop and implement strategies for standardizing product data across the procurement ecosystem, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Define data models, schemas, and taxonomies to establish a unified data structure for common products.
  2. Data Profiling and Cleansing: Conduct thorough data profiling and analysis to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and discrepancies within the existing datasets. Implement data cleansing techniques and protocols to enhance data quality and integrity.
  3. Integration and Migration: Lead the integration and migration efforts of disparate data sources into a centralized data repository, leveraging your expertise in SAP, SAP Ariba, and SAP HANA. Design and execute data migration plans, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations.
  4. Performance Optimization: Optimize data processing and retrieval performance for large datasets within the procurement ecosystem. Implement indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies to improve query performance and enhance system responsiveness.
  5. Data Governance and Compliance: Establish robust data governance frameworks and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and data security. Define data ownership, access controls, and data lifecycle management practices in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and business objectives. Provide guidance and support on data-related initiatives and projects.

Able to be in the clients location in Barcelona - 2-3 days per week.
