Permanent SAP S/4HANA FI-AP - Product Configuration Lead - Cairo, Egypt

We are hiring a Product Configuration Lead (Accounts Payable) to join a global SAP Product team working on a large-scale S/4HANA finance landscape. This role sits at the intersection of business, SAP finance, and product delivery, with real end-to-end ownership.

The Role

You'll act as the functional lead for SAP FI-AP within a product-based operating model, translating business needs into scalable, compliant SAP solutions. You'll contribute across the full product life cycle - from design through delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and convert them into clear functional & technical specifications

• Support solution design with a focus on standardisation, simplification, and long-term stability

• Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Developers and Business stakeholders

• Support backlog prioritisation, sprint objectives and estimation activities

• Configure and support SAP FI-AP solutions in an S/4HANA environment

• Contribute to UI/UX alignment and validation with business users

• Support integration design across SAP finance, procurement and treasury

• Participate in complex, cross-functional design discussions

• Ensure compliance, data integrity and governance standards are met

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA FI - Accounts Payable

• Experience with invoice automation tools (eg Process Director or similar)

• Solid understanding of procurement-to-pay processes

• Knowledge of outgoing payments and treasury integration

• Experience with SAP data integration and data flow design

• Exposure to Azure data environments and SQL

• Understanding of data governance principles

• Experience working in Agile/product-based delivery models

• Fluent English (written & spoken)
