Head of IT Platform (Medical Device Sector)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Head of IT Platform (Medical Device Sector). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Oversee the personnel & financial management of an IT Platform Services division.
• Hold operational & strategic responsibility for the Divisions Further Development, Collaboration & Communication, Workplace, Network, IT Platform & Azure Cloud.
• Hold responsibility for the implementation of IT Security & Compliance requirements in coordination with a CISO.
• Cooperate closely with a Software & Application Development department to ensure the provision of the necessary operating infrastructure (onprem/Cloud).
• Record & coordinate requirements with various stakeholders for the optimal design of the service portfolio.
• Evaluate & procure required hardware, operational, communication & security components.
• Plan & implement ICT projects & security audits.

Your Skills:

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experiences in IT including strong experiences in the areas of ICT operations, ICT infrastructure & ICT platform services.
• At least 3 years of experience in Leading Teams.
• At least 3 years of experience in the development & operation of Cloud environments.
• Skilled & experienced in Project Management, ideally including within Agile Project environments.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area of Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar.
• An Entrepreneurial mindset & networked-thinking.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written), good German language skills are considered highly advantageous.
