Senior IT Engineer- Structured Products/Python/Front Arena (m,f,d) 100%, Zürich

Project; We are recruiting for an experienced IT Engineer to join the Markets Technology department of a leading issuer of Structured Products and a key player on various exchanges in Switzerland. This role is essential for enhancing support capabilities for their trading floor.

Tasks:

  • Capture requirements, plan, implement, and test solutions in an agile environment (SAFe).
  • Assist the Trading Desk with implementing changes and providing support, focusing on Structured Products quoting and market-making.
  • Provide front-user support for Trading, Midoffice, and Risk Office
  • Work on public Swiss/Zurich holidays when foreign markets are open (eg, August 1st) as part of a rotation schedule.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in structured products issuance, quoting, trading, and life cycle management.
  • Proven experience working directly with traders on a trade floor.
  • Proficient in programming with strong technical skills.
  • Experience with Front Arena and/or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong prioritization abilities and capability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Empathetic with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
